Terroir, tradition and innovation give a distinctive bouquet of perfumes and taste, as the result of original craftsmanship in wine making.
Our FLOWER WINES are produced with Merlot grapes, reaching in Friuli their highest quality levels, and Moscato Rosa, that in the Northern Mediterranean lands also provides peculiar and extraordinary results.
These new products come from our deep knowledge of vine raising as well as long research and experience in the cellar.
A real specialty for the most refined and curious palates.

Moscato Rosa 2012
|
In the region Venezie, North east of Italy, Moscato Rosa is a vine of Balcanic origin, that generates a wine with strong perfumes of red berries and a distinctive prevalence of raspberries.
Vinified off the skins after a cool maceration of one day, it shows a very charming ruby red color of moderate intensity and an extraordinary soft taste thanks to absence of tannins. Still, perfumé, with a non aggressive residual sugar, the remarkable balance of this wine is the essence of its originality and value. |

Friuli is a small land particularly suited to vine raising and wine making.
International wines like Sauvignon Blanc and the popular
Pinot Grigio are not comparable to other expressions of these varieties in other countries.
They offer to the nose and to the palate a MOSAIC of fine sensations originated from our terroir, our climate and special grape clones
developed locally.
A superior quality experience in white wines.

The traditional red wines of North East of Italy show a particular elegance of perfumes of red berries and plums and a medium structured body. Vinification, as well as elevation in barrels of Allier oak, follow French standards. Yet, Friuli has a very long tradition of producing these wines, to the point that Merlot and Cabernet are considered as indigenous.
The characteristics of terroir as well as our style of vinification provide a very long life to both our regular red wines and our reserves.
A surprising glass of well balanced red wine.

Indigenous wines from Friuli deserve a particular attention:
the white Friulano ( formerly Tocai ) and the red Refosco dpr.
Their distinctive personality comes from the geographical position of Friuli,
a land at the extreme North of Mediterranean See, its soil and the constant cool winds.
The result is a combination of perfumes and taste to be explored and appreciated for their genuine freshness and complexity, enhanced by exclusively steel made vinification.
